After Graduation?

I have always been interested about how people live their lives. The feeling has gotten stronger especially at this time when I'm getting closer to the graduation. Graduation is a milestone of the life, and we all have to make ourselves ready for the lives after graduation. We might want to seriously rethink about our futures ahead of us at this stage. Sometimes I keep asking myself questions like this, Did I make the right choice before? Do I need a change? What do I have to do to make the living I want? and most importantly, What kind of life do I want? I'm sure everyone has his or her ideal life. Some people have childhood dream lives, some people want a job that can satisfy their ego and grant them respectful social status, some people just want to make comfortable living, some people want to do whatever that makes them feel happy. Well, I guess everyone's ideal life is mixed up with all these aspects, it's just that which one has the priority that matters. Sometimes we might be too obsessed with other things till we forgot what we actually like and want in our lives. For me, I would really appreciate if I were to find a job that can provide challenges and amusements as well, and of course the pay has to be at least enough for me to make a standard living. But, with the costs of living constantly rising and the paycheck always remains constant, I could only hope that it will someday be reached. Oh, life is hard... at least for now...

Annual Gathering is around the corner....

Annual gathering is around the corner as the year reaches its end. Yet it's always so hard to find a date which everyone can make it. I guess that's reality, and we would always face this problem. Is it not possible that we could all be together at the same time same place for once?

So, what is in store for the coming annual gathering? We have some ideas, but we need some more. Please feel at ease to suggest ideas, we need good ones...a lot!! haha.. Actually, anyone of us can organize the annual gathering, not necessary the initial grouping. So, if you are free and enthusiatic, please come forward!

Sometimes I ponder the fact of why are we having annual gathering since every other weekend there would be yamcha session. So I come down to a conclusion that annual gathering is for all to gather, especially those that are currently outstationed, whom we have not seen for quite some time. Therefore, participation and attendance are the upmost important components that must be achieved if we are going to have annual gathering.

Enough have been said. Looking forward to see everyone soon.

A day in life

This blog seems dead recently. So I think I will start it all going now, by writing on the topic " A day in life". Hope you guys join in too by writing something about the topic.

- So, my day basically starts around 8.00am. It depends on the time I slept last night, but usually when the sun shines brightly into my room, I couldn't sleep anymore.
- After bathing and breakfast, I would go to Uni.
- At 9.30am, we usually have lectures or PBL for one hour or more.
- After lectures, it's time for research work. For me, it is mostly work in the tissue culture lab because I'm working on cell lines.
- Lunch is usually with batchmates.
- After that, lab work again.
- Reading newspaper in the library is a must.
- Checking e-mails, meeting with the supervisors and the lab assistants, and calling the science sales company are the other things I do in the postgrad room.
- When everything is settled, it's time to go home. Usually, it ends about 5.00pm.
- Then, it's housework, or internet, or talking to my housemates and preparing dinner.
- After dinner and bathing, it's books and probably an episode of japanesee drama.
- Around 12am, when my eyes are heavy, it's Dreamworld for me.

So, that's basically how my day go.

How about you guys?
