Seems like many like to watch japanese drama. I did follow one little namida for a few episodes when it was aired in Japan but didn't follow to the end. I think some will feel encouraged and some will feel sad watching that, depending on from which perspective we look at. I felt sympathy and empathy with that girl, and I guess it brought me more negative feelings than positive one. I probably will give up myself if I knew I only have little time to live on. Will you still live to the fullness and try to be happy even if you knew the ending will be sad?
By the way, you might be interested to watch another drama with similiar setting, Taiyou no Uta. The story is about a girl with a disease called "XP" who cannot be exposed to the sun and most likely cannot live beyond 20. The main character is played by Sawajiri Erika also, but she looked more matured in it. Taiyou no Uta means song of the sun. Hehe, just to show that I study japanese too...
O,song of the sun.
Heard before...
If Japanese series,i'll like to recommend 'Umizaru Revolution'. It's continuation from Umizaru1. Thus,i think if u like Umizaru1,u'll like this series too...
I watched the movie version of "Taiyou no Uta" which was created much earlier than the drama version. Liked the movie version better than the drama version (stopped after watching the first episode.) The songs are better too.
Umizaru, in my computer, haven't watch yet. Maybe we can start a japanese drama thread since so many ppl are interested..haha..
